Fútbol Finlandés: June 2016

El pasado Viernes 24 de Junio se celebró e,l sorteo para la clasificación a la fase final de la Champions League en categoría femenina.
Ésta fase de clasificación estará compuesta por 9 grupos, con 4 equipos en cada uno de ellos. El vencedor de cada uno de los grupos, se clasificará para la fase de grupos, uniendose a los 23 equipos ya clasificados para formar los 32 equipos que empezarán a disputar las eliminatorias.

Los encuentros de ésta fase de clasificación se disputarán entre el 23 y el 28 de Agosto.
El representante finlandés en la competición será PK-35 Vantaa, que ha quedado encuadrado en el grupo 8 y que recibirá como anfitriona a los siguientes rivals:
Avaldsnes (Noruega)
Benfica (Portugal)
Newry City (Irlanda del Norte).

Last 24th of June it was held the draw for the women's champions league qualifying round.
It will be 9 groups with 4 teams in each. The 9 winner will join to the already 23 teams qualified and after that 32 teams will start playing the qualifying rounds.
The matches will be played between the 23rd and 28th of August.
The finnish squad will be PK-35 Vantaa which will play in group 8, hosting the matches in Finland against:
Avaldsnes (Norway)
Benfica (Portugal)
Newry City (Northern Ireland).

Buena suerte para PK-35 Vantaa y espero que tenga la oportunidad de liderar el grupo y clasificarse para la fase final de la Chasmpions League.

Tras la disputa de varias jornadas de la Veikkausliiga (como siempre y debido a la configuración del calendario, algunos equipos ya han jugado 12 encuentros, mientras otros solo han disputado 9) y poco a poco se van configurando los distintos frentes que nos encontraremos hasta final de temporada.
Por la parte alta, lucha por la primera plaza entre HJK, actual lider con 27 puntos (12 partidos) e IFK Mariehamn, 24 puntos en 12 partidos y que a pesar de la última derrotada en casa ante Kups, está realizando un inicio de temporada excepcional. Veremos si consiguen mantener el ritmo y luchar por la primera plaza hasta los últimos encuentros. También destacar el buen inicio del recien ascendido, Ps Kemi, que tras nueva encuentros se encuentra en la tercero plaza, con 17 puntos.
En la parte media de la tabla, cinco equipos, Kups, Ilves, SJK, Lahti y Rops, se encuentran en un abánico de 5 puntos. Kups y SJK, claramente de menos a más, mientras Lahti y Rops con altibajos.
La parte baja, se muestra igualmente interesante, cerrando la misma PK-35 Vantaa con 9 puntos y que tras la salida de todos mis compatriotas del equipo (algún día intentaré saber la verdadera razón)consiguió una clara victoria ante Inter, que este año se encuentra también en los puestos bajos de la tabla.

After the dispute of several rounds of the Veikkausliiga (due to the calendar settings, some teams have already played 12 games, while others have only played 9) and we can already see the different fights in the standings.
On the top, fight for first place between HJK, current leader with 27 points (12 games) and IFK Mariehamn, 24 points in 12 games which despite the last defeat at home against Kups, are doing a really good first part of the season. We will see if they can keep up and fight for the first place during the whole Championship. Also very good start for the newly promoted, Ps Kemi, which is in the third place with 17 points.In the middle of the table, five teams, Kups, Ilves SJK, Lahti and Rops, are in a range of 5 points. Kups and SJK clearly from less to more, while Lahti and Rops with ups and downs.The lower part, is equally interesting, closing the same, PK-35 Vantaa with 9 points.After the departure of all my compatriots from the team (someday I will try to know the real reason) got a clear victory against Inter, which is also having a difficult start.
